The initiative, an idea of Gianluca Pontecorvo, commemorates the two Israeli children abducted by Hamas on October 7 with their mother. On the same day, a sign was placed in the kindergarten of the Sally Mayer school of the Jewish Community of Milan in memory of the Bibas brothers and all the children affected by the October 7 tragedy. The area around the sign was decorated in orange, which was the color of the hair of the two children.
