International seminar in emergency response

Tel Aviv, 24-29 Novembre

Magen David Adom invites doctors and medical professionals from around the world to take part in five exciting and meaningful days of professional lectures and emergency medical training from some of the world’s most experienced first responder medical teams.

Magen David Adom is Israel’s “National Emergency Medical Service”, the “National Blood Service” organization and the Israeli “Red Cross Society”. Magen David Adom’s services include providing first aid and emergency medicine, collecting and managing blood donations, offering training activities, and supplying humanitarian aid to communities in need throughout the world.
Israel is in constant need of doctors and medical professionals who can respond quickly and efficiently to the needs of all Israeli citizens in case of emergency or mass casualty incidents.
This unique program will train and connect the participants from around the world with Israel.
The seminar will include:
– Informative lectures about the history of Magen David Adom and its role in Israeli society
– How to respond to mass casualty events
– Disaster preparedness
– Meeting with senior Magen David Adom staff and volunteers
– Meeting with Israeli physicians and medical professionals
– A tour of Magen David Adom facilities: National Dispatch Center, National Blood Bank and National School for paramedics
– Volunteering at a Magen David Adom station or on an ambulance
– A follow-up course on how to teach what you have learned
