EVENTS Parma Gears Up for Jewish Music Contest

On December 12, 2017, at the Casa della Musica in Parma, the finalists of the Musical Composition Competition inspired by Jewish Tradition will present their musical works.

The project is promoted by the Union of Italian Jewish Communities together with the Jewish Community of Parma and the Casa della Musica. It aims to support the composition of new songs inspired by Jewish tradition and to further enrich this specific area, which strongly characterizes the various sectors of cultural and religious life.

This first edition of the competition, in collaboration with Parma OperArt and under the artistic direction of Riccardo Joshua Moretti, is dedicated to the city of Jerusalem, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of its reunification.
