TURIN – At the book fair with Pagine Ebraiche

Thousands of readers, authors, and publishers gathered at the 36th Salone Internazionale del Libro di Torino, Italy’s largest book fair. From May 9 to 13, the Salone featured international guests, public events, workshops, and kids’ activities. As in the past, thousands of copies of the May issue of Pagine Ebraiche have been distributed, with many visitors stopping by Pagine Ebraiche’s booth.
The title of this edition, the first directed by Annalena Benini, was “Imaginary Life.” Inspired by Natalia Ginzburg’s homonymous book, it evoked creativity in all its countless forms. “I have been able to work in great freedom, a starting condition for any important work, and with the support of very good, prepared, and passionate people. This for me is a great honor and great privilege,” said Annalena Benini, opening the fair. “I believe you can feel the greatness of this project as soon as you cross the threshold of the Lingotto.”
