Noemi Di Segni Meets With Italian President Sergio Mattarella

On December 22, Italian President Sergio Mattarella met with outgoing UCEI president Noemi Di Segni. The visit took place at the Quirinale Palace and marked the ending of Di Segni’s term. After serving for nine and a half years as president and four years as budget councillor under Renzo Gattagna’s presidency, Di Segni has chosen not to run again for any UCEI role. “This is not a step back, but a step forward to move in other directions,” Di Segni said. Di Seigni also announced her intention “to provide support within the international organizations in which we have established ourselves as the UCEI.”
