The Union of Italian Jewish Communities will allocate a part of its funds from the Otto per Mille to support the fight against Coronavirus and help the entities that are dedicated to social and health solidarity. It will also make every possible effort to dedicated fundraisers, also in cooperation with the Jewish Medical Association.
This was decided by the board of the Union. The criteria will be set by the devoted UCEI commission.
The world of religions, with its ability to reach people and create community and closeness, must unite today more than ever in this challenge.
“Italian Jews – says UCEI President Noemi Di Segni – have always been there and always will be with their commitment to the most precious asset that is life”.
